About me
Jeffrey W. Peterson is teacher and writer with experience in non-profit work as a director for music ensembles. From private schools to colleges, Jeffrey has worked with students in metro-Atlanta for almost two decades, teaching English, Language Arts, Literature, Creative Writing, and music. Concurrently with teaching, Jeffrey also maintains a consistent writing process, publishing poetry, writing film reviews, and collaborating in screenwriting.
My portfolio includes critical work as well as creative. You’ll find reviews of the latest action film, poems about childhood, interviews with local artists, and works in progress.

As a third generation teacher, I’ve been fortunate enough to attend multiple post-secondary programs. In order to pay this forward, I’ve worked at multiple public, private, and charter schools, teaching ages 10 to 75. Education is a right and everyone deserves access.
Continuing Education
Throughout my career, I’ve rotated between multiple communities of artists including teachers, writers, and musicians, but creativity is always the center. These communities built me, so I continue to pour back into them.
Community Building
“Jeffrey remains relaxed under pressure and always projects a sense of calm to the members no matter what is happening behind the scenes..”
— Josh B., former co-worker
